Peggy Nethery has been the owner of Green Valley Floral & Gifts since 2008. She has over 20 years of experience in the Floral Business as a Floral Designer. She was the manager at Green Valley Floral for 8 years prior to deciding to purchase the business. Her extensive experience and passion for design is what drives the success of Green Valley Floral.
Her love for flowers began at a young age in the garden of her Grandparents. "They taught me to be passionate about flowers, I am eternally grateful to have had them as teachers and mentors." says Peggy. Prior to entering the floral business in the 90's, Peggy worked as an interior decorator. Her long term design experience provides the foundation for Green Floral Floral & Gifts' ever evolving floral arrangements.
Peggy travels to the San Francisco Flower Mart every Wednesday before the birds even begin to sing. She hand picks every flower that ends up in the arrangements. Her care and attention to detail is evident in every arrangement that is produced.
Peggy and her husband Tom have been residents of Fairfield, CA for over 30 years. They are proud to be owners of a local business and love working with the public. They believe local commerce to be important to the community in which they live, and hope to inspire those around them to support other "local" and independently owned businesses.
When Peggy is not in the Flower Shop (which is rare), you'll find her digging away in her garden at home or hanging out with her new Grandson Bennett.

Our TeamKristi is Peggy's "right hand-woman." She has been working at Green Valley Floral since 2004. "I have absolutely no idea what I would do without Kristi, she's one of the best people I have ever worked with and I am proud to call her a dear friend." says Peggy. The other three wonderful employees that you might find when walking in the shop, or delivering a beautiful arrangement to your door, are Ashley, Samantha and Ana. They will always greet you with a smile, and also have an eye for floral design. "I am grateful for the talent that each of my employees possess. Their creativity and hard-work is unprecedented."says Peggy.
